What a great 4th of July/Birthday weekend for Robin! It started with tennis on Sat. morning...bbq with family and friends...Becky made THE BEST cupcakes EVER! :)
Homemade Strawberry Ice cream.. choco-dipped licorice... fireworks that evening..
Sat. morning at the club I was greeted with a surprise gift from a dear friend who was out of town for the holiday... it was very thoughtful and I was very touched.. later, I recieved a surprise pan of lemon bars from another tennis friend.. they are THE BEST! :)
Sunday morning... my Dad calls, then my Mom.. several e-cards... Facebook birthday wishes...visit from Rozanne, Linda,Susie, my mom.. call from my mother-in-law...even today a plate full of Danette's delicious choco-chip M&M cookies.. YUM! :)
This weekend was the GREATEST! Thankyou to family and friends! :)

Tonight we were feeling a little mischevious and decided to "HEART ATTACK" our fearless Young Women Leader... Melanie Larsen.
All the girls came over to my house and we made heart cards.. thankyou Holly F. and Alex for all your pre cut hearts... sentiments expressing our love and gratitude for all of Sis. Larsen's hard work.. for her friendship and example in living the Gosple of Jesus Christ..
We are headed for such a fun experience at girls camp in less than 48 hours.. we hope to draw closer together in unity.. strengthen our testimonies of the Saviour... perform acts of secret service and well.... just have a GREAT week up at Mt. Lemmon!
Have I ever said how much I LOVE serving in Young Women??? I DO!

Today we went over to Ray and Donna's to help trim up the Boganvia and various
flowering bushes they had that were over grown.. usually happens 2 or 3 times a year.. and then to Famous Daves BBQ..
Alot of Scott's missionary stuff has arrived that we ordered... so we are going to have fun with all of that..next week the Temple. :)

Tonight was great fun as the Young Women and the Young Men had a
car wash for the Single Sisters in our ward. Women came and dropped off their car
to be vacumned... washed.. detailed.. windows etc... they were able to go inside
where they could listen to soft music... read magazines... eat snacks... paint their nails.. or just relax in the cool foyer in the church.
I am so grateful to be a part of these wonderful young people... my job was to be the greeter... that was very fun....
afterwards we had Eegees... what a GREAT group of Kids! :)

I am exhausted today... I have always wanted to try yoga... and the Bikram Yoga place on Oracle is offerring a special... a GREAT deal... for 30 dollars.. unlimited for 30 days... so I'm in..
90 min. of Bikram yoga in a room kept at 106.. also referred to as "HOT YOGA"
I have never EVER sweat that much... but when I was finished I felt great... it is now 8:30 and I feel sore... tired and have a headache... but I am going back tomorrow... no kidding... this is like the torture chamber...

What a wonderful day the weather was today in Tucson,AZ.
Since there was no tennis to be played today... I thoroughly enjoyed the smell of creasote in the desert.. I LOVE living out in the desert.. it is so amazing and I feel so fortunate to be able to experience it's beauty daily... I really dont think there has been a day gone by without expressing gratitude for the desert views... mountains, sky, saguaro, desert critters,quail, roadrunners... even the rabbits that Larry is going insane with tearing up our grass... when it rains.. well... it is just the BEST!

Scott and I went to Einstein Bagels for breakfast before heading out to take care of mission business.. passport pictures, measuring for suits etc... very fun spending time with Elder Shipley. :) Still trying to fathom the Philippines.. 2 YEARS!

As much as I love the rain.. we need to dry up for just awhile.. tennis at 7... done at 9 and then it can rain all weekend.. keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

Wow! Not many people get to see their son-in-law and eldest daughter graduate in the same week.. Larry and I could not be any prouder of these 2 ASU GRADUATES!!!
Thursday was a BEAUTIFUL day as we witnessed John graduated from the School of Business and then went to one of their favorite Thai resturants to celebrate.. that night we were all EXHAUSTED!!!
Friday morning we watched Becky graduated from the Hugh Downs School of Communications.. with HONORS.. and Hugh Downs was the speaker... really really cool!:)
Then we went to Saguaro Lake in the boat or BECKY'S BOAT.. and had a GREAT time.. I did not know that Larry knew how to drive a boat. Later, we went to the movies.. again EXHAUSTED!!!
Larry, Scott and I had a wonderful time with John and Becky and having fun playing with our grown kids and enjoy watching them reap the rewards for all of their hard work!!!

Why is King Scott my favorite child of all?

Maybe it is because of that smile he has, or the wonderful things he does for me. The girls in this family were, how do you say it? Average? Where my wonderful son King scott is WELL above average. He is so smart and kind to me. Why can't all children be like King Scott?

That number one that he is throwing up in the picture above, I believe says it all. He is number one in everything he does. He is so great. Sometimes I can't comprehend how amazing my son is. He just may be perfect. Sometimes I honestly feel like I don't thank him enough for all the wonderful things he does, so with that being said, Thank you King Scott for all you do!

Tonight's YW/YM activity was one of SERVICE! :)
The kids were able to provide service by cleaning and performing minor repairs and bagging eyeglasses so that they could be taken to 3rd world countries and donated to people who needed them and had no means of obtaining them and were going blind..
This was a fun activity... I probably had more FUN than most because I got to take pictures...
We are so blessed to have .. not only eyeglasses.. but most of us have designer ones.. or contacts or lasik surgery... I am so grateful to live in the United States.

I have been fascinated watching the process of the tennis courts being refinished..
Yesterday was sure fun.. we played at Tucson Country Club.. it is so beautiful over there.. a real country club feeling.. mature trees and beautiful lawns and flowers.. I wished we could have eatten at the club but we weren't members.. whoop t doo!
I won my match.. finally! My string broke in the 3rd game.. never had that happen before.. my opponant was so very kind.. she suggested that I use her other raquet and run up to the pro shop and have then restring it... she did not have to be that kind.. I appreciated that so much.. we were so distracted that we forgot where we left off.. and so she suggested that we just replay the game.. which seemed very fair to me... I just looked at this gal from across court and thought to myself.." You know... tennis is so fun to me.. but when I leave this earth.. I am sure being and becoming better at tennis is not going to mean a whole lot on my earth resume.. but kindness would be right at the top.. " I shared this with Jane (the lady) and told her I just really appreciated her kindness... and that if I remember nothing about the match at TCC.. I would remember Jane and her kindness and try to be that kind of person on and off the court! My match wasn't much to brag about but everyone on the team knows that Poor Robin needed this win.. haha! We lost overall.. but it was some really great tennis and fun lunch afterwards..came home EXHAUSTED.. later Larry, Scott and I took our neighbors Tom and Lora to Michaelangeloes for dinner before they head back to Ohio for the summer.. we have the BEST NEIGHBORS! :)

Larry and I hosted the dessert of a progressive dinner.. we had about 40 friends from church come over.. really fun.. beautiful night outside.
The beautiful floral centerpiece came as a BIG SURPRISE from Donna...a dear friend of mine... who knew I was having people over and brought these over this afternoon... I got so many compliments on them... I am a lucky girl! :)
Right now I am exhausted... and have to get up early to go to PHX for Susie's grandson Paul's blessing.. a VERY SPECIAL DAY for my neice Kate and her husband Jon..:)

THIS IS ROBIN AFTER LUNCH WITH TEAMMATES CAROL, GLORIA, SHANNON AND SALLY

This is how Robin looked after her tennis match....to a gal who hasn't lost a match
for the last 3 seasons... I lost 3-6 in the first set.. thinking to myself.. "I can do this... she is going to get tentative here in the 2nd set" so, it was 0-1, 1-1 (I am hopeful at this point), and then 1-2,1-3,1-4.1-5, and then 1-6.. it was some long volleys...she was just a much better player than I.. guess I am in the BIG LEAGUES now...
getting a healthy dose of ">HOW to LOSE and LOSE style="font-weight:bold;">GRACEFULLY. Is there a book out there for that...like> HOW TO LOSE GRACEFULLY style="font-style:italic;">FOR DUMMIES? LOL!
I was seriously so irritated that I thought to myself.. I am just going to walk home.. Himmell Park is on Speedway and Tucson Blvd.. but I didnt care! My friend Carol said she would just drive along side me all the way until I got in.. she convinced me to go to lunch and after a half hour of sitting across from her .. as you can see.. I was smiling and laughing again. I love Carol... thanks! :)
I still dont feel very well..you really can take a beatting..physically and mentally.. and I have been exhausted all day... I need to WIN!

Larry and Scott took off Thursday night .. they had an early tee time with son-in-law John up in Phx...Robin could barely sleep because she had a singles match early at Tucson Raquet Club... Lost the match in 2 sets from a gal clearly more skilled than I but I gave her a run and for a min. she thought she was going to go 3 sets.. so did I .. oh well... lucky to get the experience that I am getting and love,love,love the ladies that I play tennis with on the El Con Team!!!!!
Larry, Scott, Becky and I went to Olive Garden (Robin's favorite) before heading over to the pageant.. windy but fun...we hooked up with the youth in our ward.
Exhausted.. finally went to bed ... slept in and woke up to the beautiful rain up in PHX... came home.. stopped at some pit.. and I mean PIT.. called COBBS! GROSS!Our waitress name was FLO! j/k.. Larry apologised more than once for taking me there..he is so funny...good thing we like each other so well... We just laughed and off we went and listened to 70's music on the drive home.. it was really fun!!!
Well.. I have to get some food for Easter tomorrow..Both sets of grandparents will be here....so I have to make it really nice! :)

Baskin Robbins is really pretty healthy... dairy. :)

Larry bought a new driver last night... called the Taylor Made Burner... and was dying to try it out..so off we went to El Rio Golf course. We hooked up with a guy from Montreal Canada..Jean Pierre... I was able to speak what little French I knew with him.. he was so cute.. too old for me of course..lol! At one point Larry asked me where Jean Claude was.. I was all.. "Larry, it is Jean Pierre" it was beautiful day to play golf... Larry loved his new club. I did feel bad when I nailed the ball and hit Jean Pierre right square in the back.. I yelled "Fore".. oops.. too late.. he was ok and admitted that he shouldn't have been there..good thing it missed his head or I am quite sure he would have gone home mentally compromised.. he was such a nice man tho... C'est Dommage!
As you can see from the video.. Robin was set on learning how to scoop up the ball and catch it with her putter.. I practiced all morning and happy to report I am pretty good at it.. I have always been fascinated by when Scott does that with such ease..:)
I think I am more like what the French call "LES INCOMPETENT" lol!
The picture of Larry looking like he does is because I use his and mine clubs and always put them back in the wrong golf bag... so he is always looking for his clubs.. poor guy!

What a day! I had the privalidge of attending a memorial for a sweet lady Susan Grak today... the remarks made were beautiful and I am sure she was pleased with all her family and friends that came to honor her and bid her farewell.
I had to WORK.. SMERK! but later.. I had Young Womens and we had a really cool BONFIRE!

A BUSY DAY for Shipley, Smith and Bowlers...

Today started off helping Kristen and Nick move into their new really nice apartment... they were quite fortunate to have alot of help from their ward .. La Canada..
Larry and I then headed off for a bagel/OJ and then to the Gallery in Dove Mtn. to play some tennis... it is sure BEAUTIFUL up there... afterwards.. Costco.. on to home..Larry had the luxury of taking a nap.. I headed over to the Tucson Racquet Club to help with a service project ... Special Olympics.. but by the time I got there it was about over.. so I horsed around with some of the youth there on the courts playing tennis.. headed back.. exhausted.. quick nap... made some BBQ chicken... Larry... of course.. doesn't sit around for very long.. working in the yard.... making it pretty for Robin.. getting ready for summer swim parties... it is BEAUTIFUL NIGHT!
We are waiting for Scott to get back from Blockbuster.. we are going to eat this delicious pie from Costco.. it is soooooooooo good!

I have been thinking about TODAY all week...
ALOT of mixed emotions and anxiety...

My morning started off going to Brueggers to have a bagel and OJ.. quiet time prior to
a singles match of tennis against Susie (my sister-in-law).

I actually did BETTER than I thought I could.. but could not pull it off.
Susie is the stronger player for sure... Congratulations Sue! :)

But....that was business. afterwards was pleasure!
I could not wait to go to the team luncheon and celebrate the lady (Joanie's) birthday
in the above picture.... it was a great afternoon!
So... what I am gaining from tennis is more than win/lose.. it is an AWESOME group of women that I feel is a privilege to be a part of and learn from experiences right now in my 46th year of life... I am for sure ENJOYING THE JOURNEY!

and now... we got to eat out.. I choose Texas Roadhouse... because Robin is sooooooooooooooooo tired!

Humanitarian Service Project....

We accomplished alot tonight at the Cannery... the youth in our ward participated in a humanitarian service project.. there were a little over 50 of us.. and we were able to bag and tie/label over 11,000 meals.. that is ELEVEN THOUSAND!!! Unbelievable! We had a great time as well... the food goes to the Tucson Food Bank to help feed needy families.
I absolutely LOVE working with the youth in our ward... they INSPIRE a GREATNESS... A GOODNESS..and I can never get enough of it.. they are AWESOME!:)

I am sure that this weekend will be rated as one of the top 2009 highlights.
It began Friday morning... winning my first singles match.. wasn't much to brag about but none the less... A WIN! I did have a scare... twisted ankle.. took some time to stretch it out.. grateful that I went on to beat my opponnent 7-5. :)
Our team won on all 5 courts.. went to lunch with team... always my favorite thing.. win or lose! I LOVE the women that I play tennis with.. THEY ARE AWESOME! :)
We got to Palm Springs late Friday night ... got up Sat. and went to Indian Wells Tennis... had GREAT seats.. watched ALL THE BIG TENNIS PLAYERS.. WOMEN AND MEN (FEDERRER)... the William Sisters were not there.. but EVERYONE ELSE was!!! :) The most exciting by far was the Womens Doubles.. WOW! I cannot wait to wake up and play tennis tomorrow morning.. WATCH OUT! :) We watched over 10 hours of tennis.. our behinds are SORE.. and we are SUN DRENCHED! Finally... we are home.. we thought it would never come.. the drive just kept going on and on and on... Poor Larry!
As you can tell.. Scott missed us.. just a little! :)

Tonight at Relief Society I had a great time visiting with the sisters in my ward.. it was based around the theme of what we carry in our purses... or as I see it... the kinds of baggage each of us carries around... and how no matter how big or small or cluttered ... or plain or fancy or busy our bags are... that we can come to Relief Society and be OK.. SAFE.. and LOVED! I have felt that throughout the 28 years of being LDS.. no matter where I lived.. and I am very grateful.. I enjoyed the remarks made this evening.. they were thought provoking.. and have made me have a desire to be a better visiting teacher. On a funny note... We played a goofy game... a scavenger hunt if you will... I am pretty sure that not one lady in that room had the same contents of my purse.. a pack of bio freeze... a tennis elbow brace.. and a yes.. A TENNIS BALL! amongst other things were a baskin robbins pink spoon... a pink breast cancer pin ...a toothbrush?... I did have the Dillards receipt tho.. yey!
Anyway... lets just say I jumped ship on the diet tonight.. that home made caramel on the cheesecake was to die for.. all in all ... a very fun night with great ladies! :)
I guess I will have to swim, run and play tennis tomorrow.. oh well... someone has got to do it... might as well be ME! :) Enjoy the Sunshine!!!

Tonight was CRAZY! The youth in our ward hosted a FEAR FACTOR activity.. full of yuchy food.. daring ladder activites.. jousting and of course water balloons...
What great youth we have in our ward... I am excited at the opportunity and blessings of working with these young women and young men.. they are AWESOME! :)

After playing 2 sets of tennis with Larry in the beautiful sunshine.. we showered and changed and went to breakfast at the Sunny Side Cafe in Catalina on our way up to Phx. to watch a rugby game.. (one of Larry's patients).. it was fun and I am sure Jordaine appreciated Larry's interest in what he does.. we got alot of sunshine.
Afterwards, we met Becky and John at Sweet Tomatoes and had fun visiting with them...Becky was tired from doing a 12 mile hike for a cancer fund raiser.. we made it home just in time to play a game of singles with a gal from North Carolina who was staying at the resort..her name was Catherine and she gave me a run for the money.. we split sets and had to quit at 10:15 p.m. because the OV police had to turn the lights off... it was looking like she was going to beat me... at 2-4 anyway.. great fun! great experience for what I am going to be in for the next few weeks playing 3.5.
Boy... I was exhausted and I am glad Sunday is a DAY of REST... my body needs to recover!:)

I am pretty sure that yesterday and today were and are the BEST 2 days of February... at least for me anyway. :)
Yesterday started off with 3 sets of tennis... but I didn't play very well because I was thinking about how much FUN the luncheon afterwards was going to be ... and IT WAS! GREAT WOMEN! GREAT FRIENDS!
It got better later.. when Larry (my BEST FRIEND) and I decided to stay in.. and so we ordered Macaroni Grill to go and had our own nice dinner together..
Larry scores brownie points for waking up this morning with "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.. and DO YOU WANT TO GO PLAY TENNIS?"... SO,... off we went..played..had fun...went to split a REUBEN Sandwich.. (my favorite),and a huge pazookie ... ughhhhhhh... I am going to have to work out twice as hard now.. and then Robin got a pretty gold chain from her SWEETHEART..
How about those CATS? That is sooooooooooo GREAT to beat UCLA!
Well, I have to dip some strawberries for our GREAT NEIGHBORS and give them thier I AM LOVED buttons..
Larry asked me at lunch today... "What are you thinking right now?"

My day started off with swimming some laps... changing into tennis attire to meet up with Larry,Kristen and Scott for some doubles at Ironwood Ridge... afterwards going back to the El Conquistador, where they were hosting an INTERNATIONAL WHEELCHAIR TOURNAMENT!
I could not even imagine how it were possible but IT IS! AMAZING! INSPIRATIONAL! These are people from of all ages with different stories who found something to keep them going and NOT GIVE UP! Wow!
So, afterwards Kristen, Larry "THE CANDYMAN" and I went to the Gem show... and Kristen and I felt like
kids in a candystore... we had sooooooooo much fun.. I had never really been before.. we ran into Ken and Susie and Darl and Ross.. pretty random that we were all at that location, since we hadnt talked to each other about it.. well, I am going to get my bushy eyebrows waxed at my mommys... and then I think we will go to a movie.. I am not sure if I am going to see a rainbow or not.. there is a 70% chance of rain tomorrow.. just as long as we don't take into Monday... as RAINY DAYS AND MONDAYS ALWAYS GET ME DOWN! LOL!

PAUL ROBERT HUNSAKER... 36 HOURS OLD!

I realize that I have started many a blog with this title... but I have decided amidst these troubling times that we live in... to take it one day at a time....the GOOD and the BAD... but focus on the GOOD and recognize the BLESSINGS of each day.
We overslept this morning but managed to make our way to Mesa..went to the Temple... afterwards met our eldest daughter Becky ... she showed us around her work.. UNiversity of Phx.. that is a HUGE facility..we ate in the cafeteria together.. I am so proud of Becky.. she graduates in the spring from ASU with a degree in communications.. she will be the first SHIPLEY grandchild to graduate from college. :)
Afterwards we headed over to the hospital to visit our neice Kate and Jon and their new little or should I say BIG BOY! It is TRUE... he really is the cutest baby you have ever seen.. it is such a wonderful feeling to hold such a precious little soul.. only 36 hours old.. fresh from HEAVEN! :) The HIGHLIGHT of my day!
Kate and Jon are going to make WONDERFUL parents and we are soooooo HAPPY for them.
It seems SURREAL as the kids are getting older and having lives and careers etc.. of their own.. where has the time gone? I have enjoyed watching them grow and progress.. it is just weird sometimes as I guess I am the one getting older.. good thing I look so young... noone can tell I am only 40.. :) anyway, home now.. went to the club.. swam 40 laps! Going to bed so I can wake up bright and early and play......

Friday Fun Day!

In school...one of my kids had a classroom in elementary school... and on Fridays.. it was referred to as "Friday Fun Day"... I liked that and have referred to Fridays as Friday fun day for quite some time... today was definitely FUN!
Tennis at 9.. singles against favorite friend Susan! :) What a workout.. I loved it!
The team I am playing with WON their first match today against Randolf Park... and the most fun of all was going to breakfast with these gals to Torinnos...and getting to know them better. The FUN had to end sometime.... 2 o'clk... Robin had to report for duty at the office.. actually I enjoyed it..no matter how much I mess up... I still cant get fired...ha!ha! I learned there is a reason not to eat chocolate chip cookies at the front desk because you can smudge chocolate on the patient's file... it is difficult to clean off... oops! At least I dont have to cook dinner because I HAD TO WORK... and I even got a movie thrown in.. BONUS! :) Whew! I am EXHAUSTED! LOL!
Larry sweetly THANKED me for coming in today...I said.."It's OK.. I had a REALLY WONDERFUL DAY...and I planned on the afternoon.. so it is all good!" I should be THANKING him for all the fun I am able to have... I am GRATEFUL for this time in my life.. it is INTERESTING. :)

I have always tried to know my neighbors... and we have had some great neighbors who have turned into some great friends...Struthers, Foutz... we have had some not so great as well.. what were their last names? hmmmmmm.... anyway, we came home today to find this brick with a BIG HOLIDAY BOW... Very Creative Poggi's... and a THANKYOU card with 50 dollars in in.. not necessary, of course.. it was to express thanks for Larry and Scott dragging the roads after the rains.. it really brightenned Larry's day.. and we are going to use it to have fun on Sat. when we go to the U of A game.. Thankyou Tony and Kathy...:)

Alexis in City Centre on New Years Eve 2008!

Wednesdays are my favorite day of the week... well,ok... besides MOndays..and Fridays.... usually the reason is because I start my day off with tennis but also because we get our weekly e-mail from Alexis in England! :)
Today was a beautiful day in the tennis world... warm sunshine... the mountains...blue skies... Robin lost both sets... but I am playing in the BIG LEAGUES now.. and I really should learn to accept my losses more gracefully... at least the women that I compete with are hilarious to me and always make me laugh.. mainly at myself.. it's all good. I know that I am on this team for a reason.. these ladies are my teachers!
I just wonder to myself... as I get older.. if I will get nicer and not care so much about things like losing at tennis or if I will always be a psycho? Is it innate or learned... or will some people never learn? What if I am one of these people? :( "SAD" as my sister-in-law would say..Worriesome! oh well,afterwards, I was able to go to the Semi-finals of the Copperbowl at the Resort ... where some of the best of the best tennis was being played for the 16 to 18 age group.. WOW! INCREDIBLE TENNIS!
Anyway, All is well for Sister Shipley in Leeds....she says to say hi to all!
Cooking steaks on the Barbee... and playing tennis with Scott tonight.. hopefully not as cold as last night...

These friends are Golden! We spent the afternoon up in Mesa at the Temple with our friends the Struthers... their son Steven is going on his mission to Independance, MO.
Afterwards we went to Texas Roadhouse and got home late... what a day tho.. to see Jeff and Doreen in the Temple with all 4 of their boys was SUBLIME.
I think it is funny... if you notice behind Steven... there is a sign that says "Available"... he is definitely NOT AVAILABLE for at least 2 YEARS!

Anyway, we decided not to work too hard and play some more golf since Larry had the day off... we ended up going to Green Valley... Canoa Hills Golf course.. a looooonnnnnnggg
hard course.. my legs were actually stiff tonight when I went to get up from the movie Marley and ME.. great movie.. came home and gave my two girls a BIG HUG! :)

Hmmmmmm....after ringing in the New Year with good friends... sleeping in.. 7 a.m., Larry says to me.. "how about playing some tennis?" We were on the court by 8...then came home and got ready to go to a New Years brunch with some more friends.
Around 3... Scott and Larry decided that they wanted to play some golf... so they dragged me along... the weather was perfect.. I didn't do too bad...although I wouldnt quit my day job.. "tennis" :)
Scott got a kick out of how competitive I made it.. watching Larry and I argue over a hole and what the score was.. we weren't really arguing... I just like to aggravate Larry once in awhile for fun and get him riled up..lol!
At home now... watching the Rosebowl... eatting left over Carrabas..
I wont be playing tennis for a few days.. I will be golfing.. so I am told.. that's ok.
Today I shot a putt from about 20 feet away and sunk it.. and Scott said " I bet you cant do that again" so, I stood in the exact same spot and SUNK it again.. hahaha!
I atill lost over all... but had a GREAT time with MY BOYS!

Well... I remember saying that "2008 was going to be GREAT!" and indeed it was...
Alexis left for England in April, Scott (our youngest) graduated from Mountain View High School in May...recieved the Melchizedic Priesthood....completed 1st semester at Pima... straight A's.. Larry turned the BIG 50... had a special birthday party with Marilyn Monroe popping out of a GIANT cake! We were all blessed with excellent health and have had some fun times as a family! I love to look back and see all that we have done... but I really like to look forward to the NEW YEAR!

Here is what the Shipleys have going on for the YEAR 2009:
Scott completes his first year of college.. leaves on his mission.
John and Becky graduate from ASU
Nick graduates from U of A
Larry and Robin plan to go pick up Alexis from mission in England

I am so excited to have my kids home this week.. WE LOVE CHRISTMAS!
We have to get the everything all set up this week so that we recieve "the call" from
Sis. Alexis Shipley in England..
